Q. What are the airline size restrictions for carry-on and checked luggage?
A. Generally for domestic air travel, the maximum acceptable size for most carry-ons is 45 linear inches. It is recommended that you check with your airlines website or call ahead for carry-on restrictions. If you are uncertain if your bag will meet the size requirements, measure your bag’s length, width and height and add together to determine the sum total in linear inches. The maximum acceptable size for most checked luggage is 62 linear inches. For international travels, please check with your airline carrier to confirm carry-on policies.
